I go to Sephora two times a year during the semi-annual (Sephora sale). If you reach rouge status, you get 20% off everything in the store! This is the time to take advantage of everything you need throughout the year until the next sale. The best way to buy makeup is on sale

I sat in bed in the morning after journalling, thinking Sephora should release a statement to every account holder of their lifetime spending at the store! 

I would be embarrassed, but the goal is to shop smarter and not harder.

To reach Rouge, you need to spend 1,200 USD or whatever is equivalent in a calendar year. 

The easiest way to do that is to shop the Sephora sale smart, twice a year!

I know that might sound crazy, but it is easy to do. Especially if you set money aside and get everything during the sale, such as birthday gifts and graduation gifts, and purchase things other than make-up, you will get there sooner than you might think.

Tom Ford’s Bitter Peach 

One of my favorite springtime scents, this scent is a show stopper and will have people asking what you are wearing. It is suitable for daytime and night and is uniquely niche. At first, I wouldn’t say I liked the scent when I sprayed it, but it was lovely once it dried down and settled into my skin’s pheromones. It is a pricey fragrance, so I get the travel size first and then invest in a bottle once I love it. 

Cheek Clapper 3D Blush Trio Palette 

The name is too funny, but let me tell you. This palette looks good on every skin tone. I saw a TikTok of a beautiful dark-skinned woman trying it while saying, “No way this will look good on me,” and she was wrong. From then on, I had it in my loves! Patrick Starr has always been big on inclusion, and it is no surprise that his products live up to the name. 

Derminfusion Plump + Repair Lip Treatment 

Now, this product is a life savior. Suppose you have lip injections already and want to avoid looking or getting overfilled. Use this instead; if you do not have injections, this is a perfect alternative. Before, I had been using the Too Faced lip injection for years! My cousin called me and told me that I needed to try this, and although I was so loyal to the Too Faced product, I decided to give this one a try. So long too faced, Dr. Dennis is the new girl in town. 

Major Brow Lamination Gel 

I was originally going to get the Resy gel, but when I asked the worker where it was, she said, “Oh, girl, you want to get the Patrick Ta one instead.” After looking up some reviews of the other gel, I saw many people complaining about their brows flaking. I am glad I listened to the beauty advisor at the store because I’m in love with this gel. It makes my brows stay in place.

Point Made Waterproof Liner 

This was a last-minute buy; I waited in line for so long that I knew my NYX liner was drying up at home. I decided to pick this up by the register. Boy, it did not disappoint. This liner gives excellent precision, and if you know anything about the CEO, Partick Starr, back in the day, the liner was one of his favorite make-up items. This is the best liner I have tried, and trust me, over the years, I’ve had a ton. 

Benefit brow precisely brow. 

I switched to this brow pencil when I saw that Sephora had it as a reward sample. I have used Anastasia since 2015, both the pomade and pencils! This pencil is now my new go-to. 

Givenchy Prism Libre concealer 

This was a new buy for me! I wanted to try a new concealer, and the packaging of this one got me. I am already a massive fan of the Prism libre powder and wanted to try another product from Givenchy. As of right now, I like this one a lot more than the Dior Forever concealer. Overall, I give this an 8.5/10. The consistency is smooth, and it is a thick concealer.

NARS radiant concealer 

It’s one of my favorite concealers, but I took a break because it runs out quickly. This product runs out very quickly. It is still one of the best concealers you can buy.
